Outlook 2007 is the email, calendar and contact management program included in the Microsoft Office 2007 application suite. One helpful feature of Microsoft Office is that you can install as few or as many of the component applications as you want by doing a custom installation based on your personal preferences.
Insert the Office 2007 installation disk into your computer’s CD or DVD drive and wait for the Setup Wizard to launch.
Enter the Microsoft Office Product Key when prompted. This is a 25-digit licensing key that is normally found on the installation CD’s case or on a card in the box that the software came in. Click “Continue.”
Read the license agreement, and if you agree to the terms, place a check in the box next to “I accept the terms of this agreement,” then click “Continue.” You must accept the license terms to continue.
Choose “Customize,” the select the “Installation Options” tab to see a list of all the programs included in your version of Microsoft Office.
Click the down-arrow next to the first program in the list and choose “Not Available.” Repeat this process for every program listed except Outlook 2007.
Click the down-arrow next to Outlook 2007 and choose “Run from My Computer.”
Choose “Install Now” and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. You may need to restart your computer to finalize the installation once the Installation Wizard completes.
